  1. When does River Leadership School run?
RLS runs from the 19th of September to the end of July in three terms, with term times matching those of most British Universities.
  2. Important Dates
Orientation Week: Monday 19th Sept – Friday 23rd of Sept (1 week)
Autumn Term: Monday 26th of Sept  - Friday 17th December (12 weeks)

Like many modern work environments RLS is run on flexi-time. With only 6 hours of required weekly attendance, and the rest of your 20 hours commitment being flexible, students not only learn the skill of time management but also have the opportunity to get a job.

  4. Do I need a Visa?
If you are not a British Citizen you might need a Visa to study. Visit www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/doineedvisa/ to find out if this is necessary and how to obtain one.
  5. Why not consider doing it later?
We understand that everybody’s life situation is unique and not everyone is able to do the course immediately. However, because the course is designed for young adults and the specific season of life you face now, as well as giving you a head start when you enter the work place, we recommend doing the course sooner rather than later.  You should never wait till tomorrow to develop yourself and we find more often than not, the longer people put it off, the more restrictive their life circumstances get.  We have had a few people who kept putting it off, thinking they will do it one day, and are now no longer in a position to attend.
  6. What type of students have done RLS?
Our students are a mixture of nationalities, coming from all different kinds of backgrounds. The majority of them have an undergraduate degree, whilst some have none yet and others have postgraduate degrees. Ages range from 20-27.  This allows for great discussions, with different points of view and various opinions on certain topics.
  7. How can I find accommodation?
As an expanding city with a large student population, there are plenty of opportunities to find accommodation. We can assist you in your search and can offer various possibilities ourselves. Finding accommodation with other students or church members is a possibility, however we cannot guarantee this.
  8. Can I speak to some-one personally about enquiring to attend RLS?
There are several ways you can get more information about RLS:
    - Email: you can email the Dean of Students: [email protected]
    - Telephone: you can call our offices on +44 (0) 1392 425070
    - Students: we can also get you in touch with one of our current students, who are able to answer all your questions from an experience point of view, walk you through the process, and pray with and for you as you contemplate attending.
